Guess the last name tells all. I''m of Scottish/Irish decent! I was born and raised in Portales, New Mexico. Studied classical music from the age of six until college; received a scholarship in music.
I''ve traveled, and lived, all over the United States and in South America (Chile/Andes Mountains). Would sure love to go to Italy though one of these days. Currently live in beautiful Tennessee.
I''ve played the piano forever, been a studio musician and have been part of a few country bands, the most recent one being the Silverado Band. Played clubs, weddings, private parties, etc. for many years. My real love, however, is writing and recording.
Can''t say anyone in my family is famous, though I gotta admit my dad was a hero in my eyes. My uncle was over the entire operation at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis NM and was close friends with Maureen O''Hara. I think that''s pretty cool!
Okay, before I get to the TRIVIA, I''ve been told I should mention some things I''m most proud of. I''ve been married to the same wonderful woman for 36 years, have two grown children and four grandchildren. What can I say ... I got married at 6 when I started playing piano!!! Yeah, right! Also been working for the same company (Sears) for 36 years. I think I can be summed up in just a few words: honest, hardworking, family man, quiet, outgoing, assertive.
