Robert Mcduffy is a NC native and lives on the water. He is a singer songwriter who loves writing about living aboard his sailboat, sailing, fishing, and just enjoying life in general. When your in "The Beauzone" your within a two block zone of downtown Beaufort. There''s the Dockhouse, Backstreet Pub, Clawsons, Royal James, Ribeye''s,Stillwater, Cru Winebar, all which happen to have desirable beverages of choice, all within stumbling distance. As the song "Beauzone" states:(sometimes it gets crazy, sometimes it gets hazy, sometimes I like to be home by ten. I might be Shackin, a little Kyackin, maybe even take a friend, but by the way things are lookin, I''m back in that Beauzone again.) Oh yes, so true so true! I can''t tell you how many countless nights sailing on the Neuse River, or sailing to Cape Lookout at 3 AM after a gig. Beats the heck out of watching TV. You might be tired the next day when your working but it''s well worth it. Thanks to folks like Jimmy who plays by the Morehead / Beaufort bridge, makes me very happy and inspires me to write songs, and my passed buddy Jerry who still in spirit rides on the back of my two seater bike "Double Trouble" with me when in the Beauzone, ponytail in the wind,cold beer in hand. So many people and so many songs to write. This place can get crazy and the locals make it happen. Love-ya Man... this "Beau''s" for you!
