Since I fell in love with the sound of the flute, In my early twenties, I continue enjoy playing, discovering and making different kinds of flutes. Slowly, the flute became one of the main musical instruments of my life, along with singing and dancing, which are my favorite tools into trance and meditation. Some of the flutes I''m playing in this album, are the Indian Bansuri, the Japanese Shacuhachi and the Egyptian Ney.
In the last two years, I was traveling with my many flutes, guitar and sound performing equipments. I have been sharing blissful moments of music improvisation with musician dancers, and lovely world creatures in some beautiful spots of the globe.
Once there was me. Sitting on a flat rock, surrounded with clear water, trees, and the sound of unique birds. Waking up into a morning meditation at the Boomerang Creek, inside Simplicity, the magic piece of land, west of byron bay, Australia. The place where the dream of this album begins.
Through these studio recordings, I would like to share with you, lovely people and creatures on planet earth, an expression from the moment, while introducing the sound of different flutes.
The continuous sound of one long note blown into a flute, sounds to me like one of the deepest expressions of being.
I have chosen the pure acoustic instrument sound for this album and I hope that it brings you plenty of joyful moments.
