After several home-recorded recording projects, Midnight Matinee marks Brass Bed''s first venture into a professional release. Recorded as a three piece featuring original members Christiaan Mader, Peter DeHart, and Jonny Campos, the album''s layering and dubbing served as a de facto audition for future Brass Bed piano tickler Andrew Toups. The band has since expanded to a five piece to tackle their more demanding arrangemnts with the addition of full-time bassist Jacques Doucet.
Brass Bed will be touring throughout the year in support of Midnight Matinee, bringing their potent live show throughout the country.
