Meeting Elvis Presley:
Chad was elated to have the privilege of meeting with Elvis Presley in his trailer while Elvis was filming the movie Change of Habit with Mary Tyler Moore. Elvis asked Chad if it was him singing on a demo of a ballad. Chad replied that it was and he had done the best he could. Elvis smiled and told Chad - you sound more like me than I do.
Movie Soundtrack:
His ability to sing in the style of Elvis Presley, resulted in Chad being selected to perform 8 Elvis Presley songs for the soundtrack of an Israeli movie Lemon Popsicle III: Hot Bubblegum. At that time Elvis Presley management was not giving permission for the Elvis recorded songs to be used in any forum other than his own, so these 8 love songs were reproduced with Chad singing the vocals. Five of the Elvis songs as sung by Chad that were released on the soundtrack were: Love Me Tender, Teddy Bear, All Shook Up, Don''t Be Cruel and I Can''t Help Falling In Love.
