It’s a fact, families want fun music that everyone – kids and parents – can appreciate together. And wouldn’t you know it? Statistics show that’s exactly what you’ll hear on Family Album.

Audiences everywhere overwhelmingly agree that it’s a fun listen!

We know that most kids listen to the same tapes and discs and watch the same few videos over and over and over, again and again and again…

So with kids’ listening habits in mind, and because grown-ups are generally within earshot of their children''s music, we adhered to some good, old-fashioned production values when we made Family Album; like those used on the music we grew up with.

Absolutely no looping or digital sampling went into the making of Family Album. Plus, it’s tasty too! It’s an organic recording, and best of all, it’s 100% handmade in the U.S.A.

The songs on Family Album are child-oriented, family-friendly, field-tested and multi-generationally approved. There’s literally something for everyone. The songs on Family Album appeal to kids, moms, dads, grandfolks, aunts, uncles, educators and other adult types that spend time listening to music with the young people in their lives.

Charlie Jaffe was a founding member of the Seventies rock bands CTS and the Sacred Eels, and toured with “the three guitar maniac” Apache Fog for several years in the 1980s.

Since those heady, halcyonic rock ‘n’ roll days, a few dozen guitars and a beautiful family (complete with requisite dog) later, Charlie’s been writing, teaching, entertaining and singing with kids in schools, community centers, camps and houses of worship in the NY metro area since the early 1990s.

One of the highlights of Charlie’s recent years of working with kids’ vocal groups was having the opportunity to perform before First Lady Hillary Clinton.

A little while back, early in this new century, Charlie held the guitar residency in the wildly popular, House of Peace Heartbeat Band for 2+ years.

Family Album co-producers Lex Grey and Victor Deyglio own and operate Pioneer Productions’ Shabbey Road Studio on the Brooklyn waterfront in Williamsburg, New York.

Lex produced Someone’s Gotta Wanna Play by Erin Lee & Marci, the 2005 Children’s Music Web Award Winner in the category, Best Recording for Younger Children (ages 5-8). The runner-up in the category was produced at Abbey Road Studios. We trust you’re familiar with their reputation.

Do yourself a favor, and check out Family Album. You’ll be glad you did!
