In the classic Caribbean folk tradition his songs speak of the unspoiled beauty and the occasional hardships. But, never far from the surface, you hear David sing of the resilient people he''s grown up with and who wouldn''t move from this paradise for all the pearls in the sea. At the same time, this is his invitation to each and every one of us to visit Saba.
Many thanks go out to all those who helped me with this CD. First, I would like to thank God for giving me the courage to take this adventure. I would also like to thank my wife Phyllis for her love and understanding for the time spent putting the songs together. And, thank you to my friend Brenda, grand daughter Esmeralda and my son Jeff for their contributions to the songs.
