MP3 Hazah - Home Before Dawn

Unique electro breakbeat real funk groove with a refreshing organic folk blues twist.

16 MP3 Songs
ELECTRONIC: Ambient, ELECTRONIC: Folktronic

Details:
Hazah = 2 men, about a dozen instruments and a laptop...

Founded in 2003 by George BeeZ and Matthew Thelly over after work drinks, the duo gelled instantly with their techno-funk electro folk sound. They became finalists in the first ever Glastonbury unsigned bands competition after a friend made them send in a demo - and as a result were given a slot at the legendary Glastonbury Festival - quite an achievement at the time after only playing 3 gigs together previous to the competition.

Since then they have been back and played at Glastonbury twice more and appeared at The Glade Festival, Off the Tracks Festival, and twice at the Workhouse Festival in Wales.
"Bop it Dogs" (from the last album "Eyes Open") is published on the official Glastonbury Unsigned Bands CD (Concrete Recordings), voted "the most ethically sound album ever" by NME

Instruments include acoustic and electric guitar, bass, flute, bagpipes, clarinet and banjo

Their debut album..''Eyes Open''...is both fresh and raw. It truly connects with the listener with its electro grainy beat organic groove...

"Home Before Dawn" is their latest creation, it has 16 tracks and there''s something in there for everyone from the techno-folktronic "Right Place" to the mellow ambiance of "Happy to Be" it is an essential album!

"Unique...they make sound like you''ve never heard"
Josh Withey, BBC Radio

"It was recommended I come and see the funky duo and rather glad I did. They sound organic and have managed to capture that festival sound. Using a lap top to set up funky global beats and then overlay them with a collection of folk instruments...they''re clearly one of those bands loved on the festie circuit.

Well worth finding next time you see them on the bill at a festival. Songs to make you smile and sounds to make you move..."
