Biography
Intense, gritty, emotional, melodic rock with high voltage vocals and top-notch production is what you get with For The Drive Home. Led by front-man and guitarist Nick Frontiero, this groundbreaking rock native to Montgomery, AL has taken over the competitive Southeast music scene one high-profile club at a time, sharing the stage with such major label acts as TRUSTcompany, Social Burn, and Submersed. The band''s innovative singles are crafted around the darker lyrical tone of front-man Nick Frontiero, yet strongly complimented by the surprisingly strong pipes of co-front-man and keyboardist Chris Harvey. The innovative approach to keyboards along with the attention to vocal performance and production in such a heavy rock band make for a groundbreaking sound leaves most audience members yearning for more.

"For The Drive Home started as a part-time project in a small band room I rented trying to bounce back from a failed band and a failed relationship." explains Nick. A lot has changed since Nick first met guitarist Eric Salter and Bass player Johnny Cage. "Playing with them felt effortless from the very beginning and we all knew it." Frontiero remembers. The three began to build their Southeast following with various drummers for nearly a year until they found Jason Foley, a dedicated player and absolute monster behind the kit. Jaws drop when he plays and there''s no wonder. He''s been playing for over 25 years and he''s not even 30; how''s that for dedication? But the story doesn''t end there; Jason brought with him, long time friend and band-mate, Chris Harvey to fill in on keyboards and vocals. Chris, a guitar player by trade, surprisingly fell right in on the keys and gave the band the cutting edge sound they were looking for. With Jason and Chris the band was able to complete the lineup of what is now For The Drive Home - a band, an idea, a family...a lifestyle.

"Goodluck, Goodbye". The 8-track debut was tirelessly written, produced, financed and distributed by The For The Drive Home. Frontiero writes dramatic lyrics from a bruised soul, but doesn''t want to come off as brooding. "We''re talking about serious issues that deal with past relationships and experiences, but the music is sometimes upbeat and celebratory; Instead of escaping to drugs, alcohol, whatever...I escaped to my music." While the entire band wrote most of the music, Frontiero is the main contributor of the lyrical efforts. Writing has always been a priority for the band and they can be heard at their live shows and, on occasion, on one of their many partner websites. "Everyone comes from different angles." says Frontiero. "The entire band typically handles all the arrangements while Chris and I orchestrate the vocals. He and I complement each other extremely well and I think it comes across as obvious in the music."

The media hasn''t been blind either. 95.1 The Fox, a Cumulous Media radio station, has regularly featured For The Drive Home on the station as well as promotional events. The station''s top DJ Rick Hendrick recently stated in an interview with front-man Nick Frontiero, "There are a lot of good local bands out there but not all of them are ready to take it to the next level. For The Drive Home is ready for that next level and more!" If you do one thing for your venue then book this band. They won''t forget it and neither will your clientele.
