KamaNandi’s Bamboo Flute music is peaceful, healing and meditative. A multi-instrumentalist, he’s been playing and composing music for over 20 years, has scored for films, and has played/recorded in rock and jazz.

In Japan the flute has had a long association with Zen Buddhism. The idea is to use the flute in meditation to achieve total spontaneity, a release from normal conscious thought. KamaNandi’s goal with this music is to bring a taste of meditation to the listener. Indian sages have often said that unless music is able to bring inner silence, some meditation to the listener, you’re not making music, you’re making noise.
