Pastor Lyndon Qualls and the Warriors of deliverance was formed in Newark back in 1985 where he had rehearsals in the back of a beauty salon that Pastor Qualls owned. the choir started out with just his immediate family the first few years, he then later opened the door for a few other singers that resided in the local areas . Pastor Qualls''and the choir went on to perform on many television shows. local church''s and some that were at a distance their t.v. performances included the gospel hour hosted by Dr. albert Lewis these shows were aired all over the country. the choir also appeared on the Dr. bobby jones explosion which mostly took place in nashville, the choir went on to be the first gospel choir ever to perform in connecticut at the world by famous foxwoods casino and resort where they did shows that included the Dobbie brothers, the Beach boys. jeffery osborne, and some other famous artists'' as well.
After many years of travelling on the gospel circuit Pastor Qualls felt that it was time for him to record the choir his first album on share records owned by the famous Banks brothers, and the Rev. lawrence roberts first album entitled I trust in God had much success. and they performed the album all around the country until God gave him words to his second album The devil thought he had me but I Got Away gave him the most recognition, more than any other thing else he had ever done his mother sang the title track I Got Away and through that one song God really blessed him and they went to places that they had never gone before. Pastor Qualls was also the president for the world famous revival temple mass choir founded by Bishop jeff Banks where he wrote songs for their album I''am want the lord says I''am. pastor qualls was later inspired by God to do his third recording like his last one on his own label
Imperial records, this latest cd was definitely a challenge for him because it took a lot of hard work and dedication on the part of his choir because some of them couldn''t get off of work until late so there were many late night rehersals but they finally was able to complete the cd. and were hoping and praying that this cd takes him to where God wants it to be.
