Details:
For more than 35 years, Pryson & Petrone have been writing and recording timeless and poignant songs dealing with the issues of our day, both then and now. They met under less than ideal circumstances, essentially outcasts from society, finding themselves as wards of the state working on Bobo''s Farm on the outskirts of a small Southeastern Virginia town.
Through the trials and tribulations that life has hurled at them, they have maintained a close personal and professional friendship despite the 900 mile difference in their geography and the ever-changing familial and political landscapes.

From their first cassette release titled "Get Used To Me" in 1988, to the eye-opening post-911 CD titled "30 Years in the Hole", Pryson & Petrone have culminated in song, their long years of listening and watching this spiraling down of the human condition brought to bear on us all by the unseen shadow forces and governments run amok with power.

(Liner notes from Goodbye Music City:)

2008 finds Pryson & Petrone once again teaming up in Nashville, Tennessee to bring a timely message about the post-911 repression, the uncertainty of the future of our American dream gone astray and the prospects of facing a New World Order that claims it will be by our consent or conquest.

A great majority, largely lulled to sleep or sickness by a combination of anti-depressants, food additives and poisons, heavy doses of media complicity and chemtrails are suffering at the hands of unseen forces so great and firmly entrenched that the future would now look to be only a matter of survival.

Pryson & Petrone are here to remind everyone that we CAN make a stand against the tyranny. There ARE places to go for safety and there ARE kindred people of like mind. If Uncle Bobo has his way about it, the farm will be full of folks working for just a place to sleep and something to eat. Don''t be one of those. Don''t get on the Big Blue Bus.

If you do, chances are, you''ll not be coming back.

So, as we say farewell to Music City, being over-run with wizards and lizards, we can only say that we won''t miss it when we''re gone. May God bless us everyone and may the tunes on this CD bring you a satirical chuckle from Pryson & Petrone, the masters of sardonic wit.
