Details:
The New Album “This Thin Place” is a great collection of tunes and songs…some beautiful traditional songs done in our own style and a couple of very tasty tunes with unusual twists and turns. Kim has again written a bunch of songs for the album and in fact one of her songs “Aghadoe” is a second place winner at the Milwaukee Irish Festival Songwriting Contest!! The title “this thin place” is from this song and refers to the places on earth where the distance between worlds is very small…i.e.…Graveyards, shorelines and single trees….(Remember “One Lone Rowan Tree?”). So far, Kim has first and two-second place winners in the contest!!!

We are touring a lot now and are finding that our mix of sophisticated and poetic lyrics delivered with diverse instrumentation and great vocal blend really connects with our audiences. We find that those who are tired of Radiomusic of the Oldie or Newby variety are really tuning in to our sound! We specialize in award winning Singer-Songwriter fare sans the cliché of introspection but with lots of experience. Sort of a Traditional with Modern swirl with exciting dashes of new ideas and delivery!
