Jason Livesay''s intense orchestral and percussive score for the film "The Zero Point," a time-travel action thriller ("Back to the Future" meets "The Bourne Identity").

CLASSICAL: Film Music, CLASSICAL: Orchestral

Details:
"The Zero Point was conceived in the heyday of Cyberpunk, pre-Matrix. The Odyssey of the story is far too tedious to detail; suffice it to say that it went through several drastic changes before becoming a 45-minute film. But while the plot and story would take on new shapes, its backbone (wet-wire time-travel, repo men, Cain’s self-destructive path) would persist. The underlying metallic tone and high-octane action were constants from day one. Just as important as – or arguably even more important than - casting the right actors to embody the principal roles is having a musical score that conveys the energy and emotion of those characters; to put us in the center of the story and make us believe in what’s unfolding on the screen; to grab us by the hand and race down that stairwell with Cain and Eisje. Jason Livesay’s inspired, masterful score does this and more, perfectly capturing the flavor, texture, energy, and nuances of the film. From the pounding action sequences to the soft touch of Eisje’s guiding hand, Jason’s music is the piece of the puzzle that gives the film its synergy. And it’s pretty damn cool to listen to."
-ERIC NEAL, director ("The Zero Point")
