Independent-folk/rock oddities Albrecht’s Pencil commenced their bid for global supremacy in the spring of 2007, after a chance collision in the music department of Queens University Belfast.
A heady collage of (amongst other things) intricate guitar work, epic larynx abuse and unexpected brazilian instruments, their maverick music draws from diverse sources while remaining thoroughly un-pigeonholeable (naturally!).
Their debut disc ''Extended Play'' was recorded with Liam Craig in the McMordie Hall, Belfast in February 2008 and represents just a fraction of the duo''s back catalogue.
