Lefty''s youngest brother Allen Frizzell recorded and released this CD as a tribute to him at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville TN , in honor of what would have been his 80th birthday March 31st , 2008.

Since the early 1950s the Frizzells have been prominent on the music charts as artists and songwriters. Lefty was known as a prolific artist & songwriter , with inductions into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Songwriter''s Hall of Fame as well as a 10 ft bronze statue in his honor from the state of Texas. His brother, Grammy Nominated, ACM & CMA award-winner as well as two-time song of the year honors is David Frizzell.
