Details:
Ladies & Gentlemen, it is my distinct honor to introduce... the Bendickson Brothers!

You flinched didn''t you... admit it. You''re probably thinking to yourself, "Oh no, not another sibling act from the middle of nowhere!" You may have visions of BeeGees dancing in your head, but I will still say with all seriousness that the Bendickson Brothers are a little bit country, a little bit rock & roll and they have nothing to do with Daytime TV Variety Shows nor Dreamcoats of any color. They''re 4 brothers whose musical and personal uniqueness makes them an uncompromising, top-notch band with superior musicianship, inspired writing, and captivating live performances. These guys have been making music together for nearly 13 years and they''re still in their 20''s. Born and raised in the hills of Missoula, MT, the Bendickson Brothers have a sing-able, down-home sound that''s both appealing and honest.

Aaron Bendickson - lead guitar, vocals
Aaron is the eldest and wisest (the other guys let him think that anyway) of the group. If you took equal parts Richie Sambora, Stevie Ray Vaughn, & The Edge, ran them through a KitchenAid and then a 100 watt, 2x12 tube combo you''d end up with something close to Aaron''s guitar style. He''s the quintessential "kick-ass guitar player who sings all the tenor parts" kind of guy, and he loves it. Aaron is also the band''s token computer geek. "I just had to buy some new Line 6 gear," he says, "An amp that plugs into my Mac... how cool is that?!?" His lead licks and rhythm lines are as smooth & eloquent as well written Python code. (If you don''t know Python just take my word for it... he''s good).

Jason Bendickson - bass, vocals
Jason is the bass player and we all know what that means... he''s a goofball. Just look at guys like Tony Levin, Victor Wooten, or Flea... there''s something not quite right with them. Like his colleagues, Jason''s predisposition to towards absurdity and bodily function humor is surpassed only by his sheer virtuosity on stage and precision in the studio. Along with his blazing fingers, Jason has a well developed understanding of musicality and balance. "Sometimes all you need to do is just play E," he says, "The bassist and the whole note should be friends". Jason also has the unique ability and know-how to cram the band''s entire PA into the back of a Subaru wagon.

Sean Bendickson - drums, guitar, vocals
Sean has the dubious honor of being "the cute one" (much to the dismay of his brothers). Don''t let his laid back exterior fool you though, Sean is as serious and passionate about his music as anyone... probably more so. His articulate drumming echoes of players like Vinny Colaiuta or Carter Beauford, but with the panache of Ringo Starr. Additionally, his lyrical sense is truly top drawer. Much of the Bendickson Brother''s sing-able style is a direct result of Sean''s influence. "I like to consider myself the visionary of the group," he says, "But I usually need the help of my brothers to actually get anything done". Don''t discredit yourself too much Sean, after all how many other people do you know that have Audioslave and Hank Williams Sr. back to back in their CD changers?

Nathan Bendickson - keys, drums, guitar, vocals, anything else you can think of
Nathan may be the youngest brother, but he''s certainly no freeloader. Growing up in the shadow of 3 gifted musicians can be an intense assault on one''s psyche, but through it all Nathan continues to relentlessly pursue his own personal style and voice. A deep thinker who is always looking beneath the surface, Nathan is a diligent writer and player who produced his first original album before he entered high school. With influences like Guster, Wilco and Glen Phillips, Nathan taps into a whole realm of music that would be otherwise absent from this power quartet. He says that this quote from William James is among his favorites, "A man has as many social selves as there are individuals who recognize him and carry an image of him in their mind." What else would you expect from a guy who got a near perfect score on his SATs? Nathan''s older brothers may all wind up working for him someday.

The Bendickson Brothers are the perfect blend of style and savvy, silliness and sincerity. They are the musical equivalent of the phase "greater than the sum of their parts"... inviting, satisfying and challenging.

People who are interested in Guster Glen Phillips Los Lonely Boys should consider this download.
