This is truly a masterpiece and we are excited to present him to the rest of the world. Clarenze was asked to perform for the Inauguration Installation of Phillip Angelides as the State Treasurer at the State Capital in Sacramento, California. Other events and performances that Clarenze has been blessed to be able to perform in front of- include performances by and for : Steve Harvey, Mathew Knowles (Father of Beyonce and Record Label owner), Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and many many others. Clarenze was featured and performed on a popular television show in Sacramento- "Sacramento & Company".
He also was chosen by the editors of "The Sacramento Magazine" as the "Best Of Sacramento". He performed in front of over 8,000 people at the Sacramento Convention Center. The event in which he was deemed the "Best of Sacramento" raised over $460,000 for the March of Dimes- a benefit in which Clarenze strongly supports. Clarenze participated in the American Modeling and talent Convention held in Kansas City, Missouri. There at the competition, he won 1st place for male photography and modeling out of over 150 other male contestants. Out of everyone in the convention he also brought home 2nd place for his acting skills. From his performance, he received numerous jobs- spanning across the U.S. In receiving those awards, he represented California very well. He is also featured in the AMTC magazine. Clarenze performed for the staff of https://www.tradebit.com. Even though Clarenze was under the weather, he still pressed his way, and in spite of a sore throat, he still accomplished the title of being the Gospel artist for 2007 and appeared on the magazines front cover. Clarenze performed at the annual Juneteenth festival in William Land Park and caught the attention of many radio, news and television personalities. After the performance, the staff of Powerhouse Recordz was told by the radio stations that his performance was the BEST out of all of the 35 acts and groups that performed.
Clarenze has performed gospel songs in many secular atmospheres; nevertheless, he didn''t just gain their respect as a solo artist with a power-house voice, but also as a man of God. Clarenze currently is completing his project "Seek Your Face" which will be released- May 3rd, 2008. Clarenze: My main goal for releasing-"Seek Your Face", is because throughout all of my performances and many events that I''ve done, I can never forget about the bad times that I''ve also endured. I''ve had many dark and cold nights where I''ve had to do nothing but pray and Seek the Lords Face. I thank God for a praying Mother and a supportive Father. If it had not been for the Lord on my side, I don''t know where in this world I would be. The patience of the Lord and the time that he invested in me will never be forgotten. I appreciate my mother so much for her prayers and support and I pray that 1 day, I can pray for my children, the way she prays for me. I remember, I was leaving the house 1 night, real late, to go club and party all night in a totally different city and my mother sat on the couch as I was walking out the door and didn''t say a word. As I was driving back to my city that night, I remember that I began to go to sleep- while driving. Even though I was drifting away, I wasn''t all the way gone. I pulled my car over on the side of the road and did jumping jacks, I exercised for about 15 minutes before getting back into my car and driving home. When I returned later that morning, she was still sitting on the couch. I asked her why she was still sitting there and she told me, "praying for you". A praying mother is priceless in my eyes. Thank you mom for praying for me.
