I have basically been surrounded by music my entire life. Currently my music life consists of singing, writing, piano, guitar, and violin. Here is the history behind the music: My big brother, Rob Robinson, has always had a band or some musical project going at all times, and my sister, Melinda, was also always playing the piano. She gave me my first piano lesson. She died when I was 4 or 5. "Don''t cry for me I have shed enough tears for the both of us." As for Rob, he keeps my feet on the ground and is a wonderful mentor. The guitar is his fault I have to say. As for the violin, well, that was all my idea. I saw a violin one day and had to have it. I was about 4. I was born in Louisiana and raised in Mississippi; so as you can imagine, I love the Blues. You may hear them from time to time in my work. All the black keys and minor chords give me chills. Music keeps my "head in the clouds" at all times so don''t pull me down. Tell me what you think honestly and ask as many questions as you want to. Basically, I am Southern girl who loves music, and isn''t afraid to sing out loud!
