Gaetano Rava (also known as Guy Rava) was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1978, and studied in Italy during his High School years, where he began to cultivate his great passion for music, composing his first songs and performing at local pubs and piano bars. His experience in Italy brought him closer to the contemporary Italian music genre that he loves so much.
After graduating from the "Liceo Scientifico" High School in 1998, Guy decided to return to the United States to continue his education and to share his passion for music with the American audience. Since then, Guy has been living in New York City, and has now graduated Cum Laude from Hunter College University, achieving a bachelor degree in Music & Psychology.
After singing for various bands of New York, Guy is now currently a member of ADA Music Productions, a highly energetic band from Long Island, NY, well-versed in many different styles of music, such as authentic Italian music, American, and popular dance music. Guy also performs solo on a weekly basis in many restaurants, cafes, and private functions around the Tri-State area.
Guy has appeared in various TV shows, such as "Mattina in Famiglia", Rai Uno, in occasion of the Festival di Sanremo 2005, and "De Colores", a Spanish Cable TV show, as well as in various newspapers, such as "America Oggi", "Hoy", and "Impacto".
Guy has also performed at Gracie Mansion for the Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, in an evening dedicated to the Italian Heritage, on October 5th 2005.

* Guy also participates in numerous feasts and events in his own neighborhood, Arthur Ave., Little Italy, in the Bronx, including la "Festa di Sant'' Antonio", and la "Festa di Monte Carmelo").
