Getting their first break from their 1990 release "Everything", Garden of Dreams has already prepared themselves for the inevitable "big-time" with the release of their new single "Sleeping Stars".
They are led by Gene Blalock, a frail lovable kid with the looks of a typical Brit rocker. Don''t be fooled by his appearance, for his pop sensibilities run deep and he has a knowledge of music beyond his years.
Past projects in a post Punk band followed by a Manchester-inspired (The Stone Roses, Chapterhouse) band, have given him the chops to step to the plate. Several independent tours and international airplay have begun to pave the way for their success. In a town of catchy, Big-Muff laden hooks, this is a sleeper band that will come out and bite you when you least expect it.

Make a wish...
Garden of Dreams is an emerging pop group that is now taking its catchy melodies, rich instrumentation, and spectacular stage shows to the next level. As dazzling as the early 70''s "glam" rock, as avant-garde as the techno-punk of the mid 80''s, combined with the edgy aggressions of today''s music, Garden of Dreams'' music has accumulated countless loyal fans who throng their live shows, purchasing and parading their merchandise, post fan mail to the band''s online message board, and fanatically support the group.
The band consistently exceeds all expectations with their energy and talents, creating a new path for themselves in musical history much as their musical predecessors, Chicago legends like The Smashing Pumpkins, Urge Overkill, Veruca Salt and Local H, have done. From their mesmerizing live shows, complete with video projection and choreographed lighting, to the their meticulous work in the studio, the group continues to impress and astound both fans and skeptics alike.
Tireless self-promoters, Garden of Dreams are religious in evangelizing their music and art. What once began as one shy boy''s hope and childlike dreams has grown into a powerful force for change in the world of music today.
Formed in 1993 by singer / songwriter Gene Blalock, Garden of Dreams music features a combination of strong chord structures, catchy melodies and riffs, thought-provoking vocals, tight and driving drum beats, and a "can''t get it out of my head" affinity for its fans. These five boys are ready to take over the media world.
