True Witness has been around since 2002 and released their first CD album, "Origins" in 2007. They released their second CD, "Once In Time" in April 2008. "Once In Time" is a unique blend of acoustic and electric rock. Their CD provides 14 powerful songs describing life''s challenges and needs. The songs will bring out strong emotions and thoughts while offering solutions through hope and love. True Witness plays just about everywhere, bringing their unique style of music to all venues. Tim Adams sings lead vocals for the band and plays acoustic guitar and piano. Dan Adams plays bass guitar and sings background vocals. Tom Bowen, plays lead guitar (both acoustic and electric), banjo, cello and sings background vocals. They compose the music, and tweak each instrument to create the sound you hear. All the music performed by True Witness is original, written and composed by the band. Chris Bowen writes the lyrics for all of True Witness songs. Chris is a published poet and photographer. Chris writes the lyrics as if she is explaining the experiences of life and God’s love through the eyes of her heart. Experience is a source of learning for any writer. Combine that with extreme faith and you have the music of True Witness. Chris Bowen plays the clarinet and percussion in the band. Also in the band are Heather Adams on keyboard, Kim Adams on flute, and Bill Paschall on drums.
The band sings their testimony, and the music reaches out to all people, everywhere. The music of True Witness is about life, truth, hope, and the love that only Christ could bring from our Father in Heaven. Christ is sufficient. Love is enough.
