Using Santa Ana, California as their home base, the group consists of Thomas Monroe (vocals, rhythm guitar), Daniel Powell (guitar, bass, drum machine programming), and Anna Judd (keyboard, synthesizers). The trio blends a variety of music, bringing in influences from hip-hop artists such as Tribe Called Quest, Dr. Dre, and OutKast, while interweaving the psytrance, techno, and classical genres to bring their musical structures together. Their innovative combinations of styles makes Vendetta Valentine’s sound a profound musical statement that resonates into our day and age.
This trio’s artistic endeavor doesn’t stop with just music. Each member takes part in various other forms of multimedia arts. Monroe is a well-read art aficionado, and is also an author of the novel Neeva’s Gift. Powell has his hands in video production and post, while Judd is a studio artist, drawing and painting. Vendetta Valentine’s work is a pristine mirror into each member’s extra-musical activities and hobbies, shedding light on an whole new layer of meaning behind the music.
