“Saguaro” was written throughout Brett’s travels and influential discovery''s of the American Southwest. The album, taking some time to write and produce, was recorded on a digital 16 track portable work station. The recording of John Ostrem’s drum parts really pulled the album together and brought more expression to the songs. Eventually, ‘Saguaro’ developed into a sonically adventurous ride.
Brett has been playing guitar for over 27 years and is not the usual solo guitarist. These songs have more depth than flash. Layering tones and sounds from the guitars with solid, directional drum beats and percussion.
Brett has resided in city’s like Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles and Austin. Although mainly a solo artist, Brett has worked with many bands and has extended stage experience.
