"Thought in LA, created in Paris, Produced In London"

Philip M. felt instantly lucky when actress Fannie Brett accepted his offer to collaborate as a singer - songwriter on his music. He actually found a complete and talented artist in Fannie.

In the beginning of her career Fannie Brett''s talent as an actress did not go unnoticed, James Cameron, James Ivory and Cédric Klapisch offered her film roles in several of their major films (Titanic, Le Divorce, Péril Jeune).

When she discovered Philip''s original music she felt inspired and realized she could finally use her professional expertise as an actress and her academic knowledge gained at Conservatory, UCLA and Cours Florent to write poignant songs and express the lyrics with her seductive and powerful voice.

Philip M. trained as a guitar and bass player since the age of 12 years old. Later on in his diverse career he became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of his own successful company in spectrum management. In 2005 he decided and felt a real need to return to his first love, making music and invested in his own recording studio based in bourgeois Paris. Partners Thierry Othnin Girard and Laurent Abril both CEOs agreed to engage with Philip M. on the creation and development of their independent music label: CEOz Prod.

Inspired Philip M produced an abundance of music tracks but through his endless search for a singer he could not find the right vocal identity. After many disappointing auditions, he still hoped to find the right voice. Philip''s inspirations and influences include: Nine Inch Nails, Peter Gabriel, Sonic Youth, and Radiohead, he knows his music needs an English speaking singer.

Fannie returned to live in Paris after 8 years spent in LA, she sent via a music website her demos to Philip M.. He immediately knew he had found the singer he had been looking for. They met in the recording studio in Paris and listened to the numerous tracks, Fannie left the meeting with 18 tracks and a week later signed a contract with CEOz Prod after sharing with them 2 proposals on "Intro" and "No Way".

After 18 months of hard work, writing, recording and pre-mixing 13 tracks, Philip and Fannie agree to call the album "Not Your Enemy", it was time now to find the right sound engineer who they could work with to emphasize the creation and soul of their existing Artsy-Pop-Rockmantick sound.

With his British touch Steve Prestage gives the album "Not Your Enemy" a seductive dynamic harmony between the voice and the music. The mastering of the album was made at the Metropolis in London by Ian Cooper.

By January 2008 "Not Your Enemy" is ready to be released onto the music market worldwide so that people can listen and dance to CEOz sound around the globe!

CEOz is Artsy-Pop-Rockmantick not for those who like the regular pop music sound, not for those who are lacking class...

CEOz is like a sophisticated grungy journey, sounding like the female singer of Reznor, with the rock melancholy of Beth Gibbons and a rhythm sound of Sonic Youth.
