Defending Otis is a rock/alternative band from southern Ontario. Formerly a rock trio, Michael Pursley (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) joined up with Lee Tessmer (lead guitar/keys) in 2007 to record the EP ''Love, Lies and Fireflies'' - a powerful collection of ballads and rhythmic rock songs. The two will tour an acoustic set starting in the spring of ''08 to promote the album''s release.
