Details:
Keith Zizza has been a professional recording musician since 1991. In that time, millions of unique listeners have heard Keith''s orchestral and new age compositions in the world of electronic entertainment.

His instrumental compositions are distinct, accessible, and very emotional. They are typically set in an orchestral realm with a blend of complex world rhythms, haunting melodies, sweeping passages, and tasteful synthesizer elements.

Zizza''s debut CD, Memories of a Forgotten Age, was released in May of 2008. Other recent soundtracks include:

• SimCity Societies (2007-8) for EA Games

• Making History: The Calm and the Storm (2007) for Strategy First Games

• Caesar IV (2006), for Vivendi Universal Games, and Universal Production Music Library

• Children of the Nile (2004), for SEGA/Myelin Media

Liner Notes from the Album:

In 2006 I had an idea to compose a body of work set in a fantasy genre. I enjoyed writing the soundtrack to Sierra''s Lords of Magic back in 1997, and so I thought about recapturing some of the "feel" of those musical ideas here. Initially the work was supposed to take a year to complete. But having my full-time duties as Audio Director for Tilted Mill Entertainment - and surviving a heart transplant in 2007 - it would ultimately take two years of my spare time before this album was completed.

A very personal labor of love, Memories of a Forgotten Age aspires to conjure up fantastic images of a time that once was, or still is, somewhere in the universe. I hope the listener finds his or her own world within these compositions, and for at least a brief moment, becomes completely immersed.

The following virtual instruments and samples were used in this project: Quantum Leap Orchestral Libraries, Ra, Stormdrum, and Symphonic Choirs; Peter Seidlaczek''s Classical Choir; and Spectrasonics Atmosphere. Sound effects from Sound Ideas, Inc. Music hardware: Roland JV-1080/Orchestral, Roland XV-2020/Orchestral, Yamaha S80, Emu EX4T Sampler, Emu UltraProteus, Yamaha EX5, Korg Trinity.

Thanks to Alex Vacek at Oasis for putting this CD together; the audio wizardry of Frankford Wayne Studios; Chistophe Vacher for his fantastic arwork; Patrick Brigham for his design input; my wife Corinne for tolerating the long hours away in the studio; Raymond my greyhound who''s always there for me no matter what; my family and friends; and last but certainly not least, my fans -- who without, this CD would not have been possible!

Enjoy!
