Tom Massari began his musical career as a drummer in 1964, playing in well-known nightclubs on Chicago’s Rush Street with a band called The Apocryphals. The band signed with Mad Records and did numerous tours around the country.
In 1971, Tom moved to Los Angeles, CA with a band called Crucible. After several years of recording, record making, and playing frequent gigs at the Whisky on the Hollywood Strip, Tom took a break from music to begin other business ventures. In 1991, he returned to music and wrote a film score, music for various industrials, and a TV theme song.
In 1998, became involved in acting and signed with a major talent agency in Scottsdale, AZ. His movie credits include Tombstone, A Mother’s Revenge, Byline and Brian Loves You. Always keeping his hands in music to some degree, Tom has now returned to composing full-time. His music credits include the Focal Point Meditation Music series, Cry Vengeance (a film score), Inventions, Classical Inventions, Can You Hear Me, and his latest album release, Maya.
