Gianfranco Benedetti, an appreciated swing singer and Simona Allegro, a young rock singer and promising voice, the first time together in this new album "PROFONDI COME IL MARE" (Deep as The Sea). It is a collection of songs written by Sebastiano Rizzo. Sebatiano Rizzo, born in Italy is a M.D., songwriter and musician. He visited the U.S.A. several times. But, back to the album. Have you never looked at your Love''s eyes? They are deep as the sea. The album opens with "Lasciando Harbin-Leaving Harbin", written by Sebastiano Rizzo during his journey in China. The Chinese sound is still present just to jump to Italian melodies (Storia d''Amore-Love Story), blues (Nelle Tue Mani-In Your Hands, Forse Tu Non Sai- Perhaps You Don''t Know), swing (Formato Tabloid-Tabloid Format), slow rock (Quel Treno Per Shanghai-That Train To Shanghai, Viene Subito Sera-It''s Evening) and the italian version of the american country style "Lower Manhattan", written as a tribute to the September 11, 2001 NYFD firefighters, a number of them had Italian origin. The English version of this song was awarded by ASCAP for 2001-2002. And last but not least: Il Rosso (The Red-haired boy)an autobiographic guest song by the singer-songwriter Roberto Durkovic, a Sebastiano Rizzo''s friend, who is growing up in the music scenario with his own personal style.
