This is Jeff Michael''s second release. Jeff Michael grew up in Syracuse, New York. He studied music as an undergrad at Fredonia State in upstate New York. Then in 2003 he came out to Southern California to study film music at USC. After graduating from USC Michael discovered that his true passion was songwriting. He began playing open mics and gigging in Los Angeles. In 2006 he release his first CD Full Circle. Mark Bialczak, a music critic for The Post Standard of Syracuse writes of Jeff’s first album "Full Circle delivers pop music fresh and tasty.”
Since Full Circle Jeff continued working on his craft of songwriting as well as playing with many great musicians that helped shape him into what he has become today. “The Other Side” was produced by Dave Cobb. Some of the notable artists that Cobb has produced are Shooter Jennings and The Stray’s. The musicians who played on the record where also incredible. Fred Mandel who played keys and organ has toured with Elton John and Queen. David Goodstein played drums and is currently touring with Josh Kelley. Michael''s music has substance, the arrangements are superb and melodies get stuck in your head. His music is heartfelt and leaves the listener satisfied. He is a true storyteller, reminiscent of great songwriters of past such as George Harrision, Tom Petty, and REM. Jeff Michael currently lives in Los Angeles.
