Howdy Gentle Cyberfolk out there in the CyberUniverse!

This collection is an interesting mix of autobiographical experiences, insights, messages and melodies. Oh, I almost forgot, just plain interesting songs to ponder.

Ted''s prolific discography runs the gamut from soul-barring folky-pop to Asian orchestra to Rave to Adult Contemporary, and everything in between.

The song, "Why Should You Care About Me?" was in rotation at KEPC Colorado Springs radio station.

"Robin Please Call Home" is about Ted''s Nephew Robin Shinn who disappeared by the edge of a river in Indiana and has never been found. His family is still waiting for him.

"One Split Second" is a true story about a girl who was biking to work and was hit by a car. This was a well-liked person, and the wonderful people of San Francisco placed hundreds of flowers on the spot where she died and held a memorial service for her. This song is artfully captured with the lyric, "Some draw their first or their very last breath..." Hummm... something to think about!

"Cab Driver" is another true story about Ted when he was out a partyin'' and had no money to get home. He concocted a plan to burn the cab driver, little did he know the cab driver had a plan of his own in mind...!

"Peace At Last" {Title Track} is one of those John Denver style songs that makes you feel good while it gives you your medicine. "The light shines through, my window in the morning, the sun streams on the grass. The moon and stars... are shining every evening, ''cause the world has peace at last." If only!

"Kasi Ann" is a heart-wrenching ballad about his sister and her struggle with drug addiction. It certainly shows that Ted Shinn is not afraid to tackle subjects close to home or sugarcoat the world. Worth the price of admission, folks. Worth the price of admission. He ends the song with redemption, however; "Me, I try to stay alive, waiting for Spring to arrive..."

Best wishes to all who have arrived here, by chance or on purpose!
