Details:
Leek and the Bouncing Uptones: A now defunct band from the Pretoria area of South Africa. Andrew Wright was the signer/song writer. He is now playing guitar in the South African band the Slashdogs. If you find yourself in the RSA make sure to catch a show.

Live@Subs: Band is from Melbourne, Australia. From a session with Ross Fletcher of the Falling Idols, and Mudd of the Falling Idols. Recording was done by Wendy of DM Gremlin Productions in Long Beach, CA. Recorded in 2007 during the Live@Subs tour of California.

Falling Idols: Long Beach, CA punk band. Features David Quackenbush (Vandals) on vocals; Randy Bradbury (Pennywise) on bass; Trey Pangborn (Shortbus) on guitar; Mudd (Gluefactory) drums. Songs are live from the 2001 benefit for the 911 victims.

Secret Hate: Seminal Long Beach punk band. Band originally wrote the Ballad of Johnny Butt which was later covered by the Sublime on its self titled album. Singer Mike Davis’ voice will sound familiar when you get to the Glue Factory tracks. Songs are also live from the 2001 benefit.

Long Beach Shortbus: Eric Wilson from Sublime on bass; Mike McCreedy of Pearl Jam on lead guitar; Trey Pangborn of Falling Idols on guitar; Smitty of the Crewd on vocals; Mudd of Falling Idols and Gluefactory on drums. Performed live at the 2001 911 benefit. Song was done during the final performance of Long Beach Dub Allstars.

Juice Bros: Eric Wilson (Sublime); Bud Gaugh (Sublime, and Del Mar); Michael Happoldt (Sublime); Scummy (Corn Doggy Dog & Gluefactory). Punk band.

Glue Factory: Save the Buildings and Glooming from sessions done with Randy Bradbury (Pennywise) on bass. Reckoning from sessions with Simon “Sub” Michalski, and Steward “Wingman” Shankey of Live@Subs (Melbourne, Australia) on guitar and bass. Song also features Wendy Levin (D.M. Gremlin Productions) on bongos, vocals and Keyboards; Todd Forman (Sublime) sax; and Nate Light (Hot Onions & Das Klown) on orchestral bass. Glue Factory is: Blake Devila (Secret Hate); Mike Davis (Secret Hate); Chris Bradford (Deadbeat Dads); Scummy Elm (Juice Bros); Mudd (Falling Idols and Pivot Foots).

Souidier of Fortune: Nick of River Jetty’s original band. Cool stuff.

Corn Doggy Dog: Song was an out take. Recorded while Smokey was in Vegas. This is what happens when you leave Kenny the keys.

3rd Alley: Long Beach band. Zim 2007 was recorded before the recent Zimbabwe election. Oh My Janitor is an old Suburban Lawns song. Look for 3rd Alley’s new album to hit the stores and web this summer.

Pivot Foots: Another Suburban Lawns song. Look for Pivot Foots’ album Using Nature to Destroy Itself. Also on vinyl only Wingless Birds of Flight.

Falling Idols: Song was again recorded at the 2001 benefit. Features a duet with Ken All Night Rocker. Ken was a rad guy who inspired all that knew him.

Ken All Night Rocker and the Wild Eyed Southern Boys: Ken Rocker vocals; David Quackenbush guitar; Randy Bradbury bass; Mudd guitar; Josh Freeze drums. Live line up was Josh on bass, and Randy on drums.

Mixed and mastered by Wendy Levin of DM Gremlin Productions (Long Beach, CA)
