The Burnevik & Meyer Project is Dan Burnevik and David Meyer, two singer/songwriters who met in Sacramento, went on to become bandmates in several rock bands, and ultimately collaborated on this project. The music is acoustic-driven folk/pop/rock, and the lyrics are smart and tell some great stories. Dan Burnevik is originally from Minnesota, now lives in Austin (TX) and continues to write songs and music locally. David Meyer is originally from New York, now resides in Sacramento (CA) and is the full-time bass player in a Northern California-based tribute band. Dan and David have collaborated on other material, and another project album is in the planning stages.
