The name, God’s Image, reflects God’s will and purpose for mankind. Their innovative harmony combined with their meaningful lyrics provides music that inspires, heals, and delivers. The group consists of four anointed and appointed young gentlemen by the names of Branden Anderson (age 23), Marlon Anderson (age 20), Curtis Langley (age 21), and Lamonte Harris (age 18). All members are from Richmond VA. Group member Branden Anderson formed the group in 1998.
God’s Image has been blessed to minister at various venues/shows across the world such as the World Famous Apollo Theater, Bobby Jones Gospel, International Urban Music Conference 2002, 2nd Annual Back to Holiness Conference and many more. God’s Image has opened and/or performed with artists such as, Mary Mary, Trin-i-tee 5:7, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Shirley Caesar, Tonex, Byron Cage and many more. The group was featured in the May/June 2002 issue of The Gospel Truth Magazine. The Gospel Truth Magazine held its 1st annual Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Bobby Jones hosted the event. God’s Image received a nomination for Outstanding Youth/Young Adult Artist. The group’s phenomenal talent has earned them many fans across the United States.
In the summer of 2003, BGA entertainment released “Everything Will Be Alright.” God’s Image enjoyed much success with that project. Now after a successful run with that project, BGA entertainment is releasing the single CD “I Love You,” which features the hit single “I Love You” written by group member Branden Anderson and produced by Terence Thompson. GI is embarking on a church tour in the Baltimore Maryland, Washington DC, Richmond VA, Norfolk VA, Raleigh NC, Durham NC, and many other cities to promote their new singe CD “I Love You.”
Education is very important to God’s Image. All four members have studied music in college and have a background in music theory, performance, and vocal training. Branden received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music from Elizabeth City State University. Marlon is a mass communications major at Virginia State University. Curtis is a music education major at Virginia Commonwealth University. Lamonte is a music media major at Norfolk State University. Gods’ Image says, “the key to our success is our commitment, dedication, and our never-ending love for Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
