With their self-titled release, Far From Even serves up intense musical angst with a side of addictive groove. The 12 energetic tracks exemplify the band''s early 90''s influences of such bands as Jane''s Addiction, Helmet, Rage Against the Machine and Stone Temple Pilots.
Hailing from just west of Philadelphia, the band has received critical acclaim in both radio and television with this full-length release. It went to radio March 5th and was #5 on the most added LOUD ROCK category in FMBQ, Album Network and CMJ. On April 2nd the CD made its debut on CMJ''s Loud Rock Chart at #39 and moved up to #29 the next week (still climbing). It also debuted on Album Network''s Aggressive Rock Chart at #40 the same week and moved up to #33 a week later. Three tracks from the CD were used extensively on MTV''s Real World and Road Rules. The song "It Burns" was featured in its entirety for Airwalk''s Snowboarding Team on ESPN2''s Snowboarder TV. The track was also used in the extreme sport TV show SNOW ACADEMY which in addition was shown on United Airline''s flights.
Over the past few years, they have opened for Creed, Fuel, Hatebreed, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the Goats, Stabbing Westward and D Generation.
Although you can hear them on radio and television stations throughout the country, you must experience the creativity and intensity of their live performance.

Could be...
Nice Black Sabbath style riffs. Needs to really belt out those vocals. The riff is catchy and the drums do a good job, but I dont hear a solid hook. Rock on!

Very well done, verse and chorus are both interesting. The only thing I can say is that the vocals could have been a little higher and out in front.

I like the message conveyed, and the style used. I enjoyed the lyrics and i think your word usage was excellent. I could sing along to the chorus, which is a huge plus in my book. I liked the mood you set, and would love to hear more from you. it''s great to hear a deeper voice nowadays. You carried the melody wonderfully. Let me know if you have a cd available.

This band''s hook would attract a modest amount of fish. The writing and arrangement displays a complete idea, and the band performs it well. The vocalist''s laid back style is the only lacking quality of the band. The production has no flaws to speak of, enticing a listener into a live show. With some adding of energy to the vocalist''s delivery, this band has the ingredients necessary to compete.

it sounds like a true new group should, it''s got a singer who sets a mellow tone and then guitars kick in and finish off the rest of the sound by blasting an indie sounding riff, it''s got some key changes that caught my attention, good song

I like the intro. Over all, I think it is too long and repative, but the tone and feeling is totally there. The voice is cool. The groove is good. Over all though, the song is good and everything sounds good.

some people would call this angry nerd rock, but to tell you the truth i''m impressed, it sounds a lot like hoobastank in the beginning and then some classic rock influences are there when they start to really rock it, good music.

This song is really played great right out of the gates. It is produced great it seems. I can not comunicate thing seems to be said to much but it doesn''t take away from what a great song this is. It takes you though a couple of changes and you like to be there. Pretty good.

Very good vocalist
The most mature vocalist, with the most presence I have heard on here in a long time. The guitar is awesome. The percussion added with the standard drums was very tasty. Loved the bass.

Hit me with good stuff
I am digging the bass in the intro. It sets up the change perfectly. The vocals seemed a little rushed. Maybe a little space between lines would help. Sometimes a vocalist has to hang back and trust the band to keep things rolling. So, I would say the verse is way busy. I would either mellow the band or the vocal line down a hair. The chorus is way too much information way too fast. The song dosen''t breathe at all.

Communication
1.) Verse - Vocal cuts through the mix a bit much. If blended better would be more effective. 2.) Chorus - Ok, expect more of a lift off with such a powerful start. 3.) Hook - Nice, made me listen. Hell yeah!!! I am listening as I type. Great guitar solo. Vocals are nothing special, but the band is. You guys should try to break free from the standard hard rock approach. I hear the potential for some really modern and inventive music in your future, if you take the step.

Sound is good
Its well recorded and produced, The riff at the start is very familiar, hmmmmm.. It takes its own twist after and the guitar solo is great. I miss guitar solos . I really like this tune , The singer can actually sing not just scream or rap, he has a good range he can work within which is very helpful.I am giving high marks for this and I will be downloading it if you dont mind. Thunderous Intro
The guitar riff was great. Nice tone and cool rhythm. Drums are kickin. Solidly laying the bottom. The bass is solid but is duplicating the guitar line most of the song. The playing is tight and solid and the lines work for this song. Good Job with this one.

Good rock tune
This had a bluesy taste to it which was cool. the are a lot of breaks in the song that the drums and guitars use which were cool. A well rounded band, you guys have a new and old school feel th this song which made it interesting.
