"Covered Bridge" The second release durring what was a period of steady touring for The Gordons. Remastered from the origional tapes and re-issued by Reception Records in 2000.
Features the origional lineup of Gary and Roberta Gordon, origional banjo player Gordon Wilfong, plus new member Charlie Rice on fiddle (later with Austin''s Dixie Diesels) and Tom Patterson on standup bass. Tom had been working with Chicago Blues legend Sunnyland Slim and lent tasteful and driving bass sound.
By now The Gordons were keeping the roads hot, honing their skills at colleges and festivals around the country.
