In the summer of 1999 I wrote this album in Chet and Shamen''s 3rd floor walk up on Main South in Worcester, MA. We recorded the album, January 2000, in one weekend in a small cement walled basement at my brother''s house. Michael "the shamen" Silver(rest in peace) sang and Chet Kruzewski played harp. I sang, played guitar, keyboards, drums, bass, percussion, programmed synths etc...
My Lo-Z Records studio was comprised of an apple imac computer synced to a tascam 1/2" reel to reel, kurzweil k2500 rack mount sampler, emu proteus synth, fender stratocaster guitar,Chet plays hohner harmonicas(he only had the keys of A and C at the time>>> he currently owns 9 keys:), a marshall amplifier, a behringer compressor, roland echo, and 3 shure sm 57 microphones. It was a fun 2 nights.
I mixed the record the next couple of weeks and by February 2000 was passing out mixes to friends.
