Playing the harp while singing is a difficult task yet the combination of this unique talent and her well crafted lyrics has left audiences mesmerized.
Harp and Willow signifies Amy''s first explorations into Irish melody and meter. Many consider the recording appalachian in nature. This is due to the large amount of Irish immigrants who settled there. Along with the Celtic influence the music has at times a medieval ring. Amy Covers Michael Card''s "God''s Own Fool" which is a fan favorite. Also "Babylon", the Jewish traditional about Israels Exile is haunting. Harp and Willow is the most mellow of all of Amy''s vocal recordings. It is peaceful, relaxing, and worshipful.
