Ray Silvia was born and raised in the rural Central California hamlet of https://www.tradebit.com grew up listening to his dad, Antonio, playing harmonica at home. He was always fascinated by the musical talent shown weekly on the Ed Sullivan Show on television. When he entered high school, he learned to play guitar and performed with bands for several years. When a college student, he decided to take up playing harmonica in memory of his dad, who passed away when Ray was a junior at Gustine High School. During a summer break from Fresno State College, staying in the rectory of our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Corcoran, CA.

He worked editing and typing a book manuscript for Rev. Hugh Modotti, founder of the New Camoldoli Hermitage in Big Sur, CA, in addition to helping out around the parish, under the supervision of Rev. John Coelho-Harguindeguy. It was during this summer that Ray began to write Christian music. Two of his first songs, "Lullaby of the Spirit" and "I Sing Your Song" were published in the "Hymnal for Young Christians, Volume III," by a major Catholic music publisher of that era F.E.L. Publications (Friend of the English Liturgy), Located in Los Angeles. Ray gave several thirty minute television shows/concerts for KNXT Television in Fresno, California. He was also interviewed regarding historical topics on CNN Newsnight, and on Cable Channel 14, where he also appeared as a storyteller. In 2006, Ray retired from a career supervising California library programs and relocated near family in Bandon, Oregon. That year, he met Catherine and Larry Rowe in church and began doing Christian music with them.

Catherine was born in Stockton, California, in the San Joaquin Valley of California and raised in Manteca in a largely Portuguese community. She went to a Catholic school for seven years and during that time took voice lessons, piano and guitar. Catherine was a member of the church choir led by a nun. Her parents always encouraged her to sing and play instruments. She loved watching Deanna Durbin movies and opera singers. As a teenager, she was one of three who were sponsored by the community to travel to New York to audition for Up With People. All three auditioned and became cast members. Catherine toured with Cast B for a year, traveling the United States and Canada. Highlights were performing at Carnegie Hall, Constitution Hall and visiting the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian. She was the first graduate of Up With People High School.

Catherine just recently began singing again when three years ago at Pentecost she came back to the Lord and her Catholic faith. She began singing with the choir at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bandon, Oregon. She and her husband began a music ministry in adult care facilities in Bandon and Coos Bay (piano and voice). Then something amazing happened as she was attempting to memorize a beautiful prayer called the Anima Christi. It came out in a beautiful melody that became her first song. Since then more songs came. She had no arrangements for these songs until Ray Silvia joined her parish, heard her sing and asked her to sing one of his songs for a recording. In exchange she asked him to help with her songs and since then they have been writing songs together, recording, performing and making CD''s.

On the first CD, Tears to Joy, Little Ones is about my admitting to my abortion and to the Lord’s divine mercy and healing power. Haunted speaks of things that might have been and tells how I feel sometimes, but shows love and forgiveness coming across eternity from “Mary Elizabeth” my baby in heaven. I have performed both of these songs in churches and given speeches on pro-life Sundays. We performed "Haunted" and "Into The Stillness" at the Oregon statewide right to life conference in April of 2007.
