A Message from Greg
I enjoy making music that people can relate to. I have a passion for all types of music. Gospel is my first love. God has given me a gift of writing, singing, creating and performing my own music. As I stated before it is a gift. I do not read music but you will not know this by listening to my CD. The Bible tells us to use our gifts or lose them. I have friends and family members in the music business, one of my friends own a studio,trying to get help from them was impossible. So I have created my own little studio. I bought the instruments I needed and all other soft and hardware needed to create music to put into your homes with the blessings god has giving me. My music whether it is R&B, Gospel, or Rap is all positive material. It is about us as a people making changes for ourselves and the world. My music is very versatile. I play all the instruments and do all of the singing. I give all credit to my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. My songs are from the heart and it all deals with life experiences and what we can do to change. It deals with exposure to the outside world by spreading the Gospel through song. Many artists brag about what they have, what they have done, who they have been with, and how much money they have made. The Bible states, that is their glory, mine is in the Lord. GOD blessed me with everything so therefore GOD gets all of the credit. I forbid I should glory except in the cross of Jesus Christ. Never should we think that we do not need God. Never should we think that we did it by ourselves. GOD can take it all from you at anytime if he chooses to do so. We should not think that we are so big that we can not give the glory to God. Ask yourselves who made it possible for you to get up this morning? Who made it possible for our young generations, politics, creation, the gospel, and many other real life situations. I have performed in churches, libraries, stadiums, senior citizens homes, youth houses, weddings, and graduations throughout the New Jersey area. I am also a bass player for St. Mathews AME church in Orange, New Jersey where I have been a disciple and member for over five years. I have a passion for old school Music because it expresses a lot of feelings and meaning and that was when music was music. That is why I mix a little of this with a little of that in all my songs. It is my own unique flavor given to me as a gift from God. I write it as I receive it. I put it down as it comes to me. Music is my ministry it is in my blood. I am not glorifying myself through my songs. I glorify GOD''s name in all my songs. GOD gets all the credit. Song number seven, "Gifts of the Spirit", will tell you a little of how I got started. It tells how I was you to have what you have? Think about it? If we submit ourselves to him and acknowledge him as our savior he will give us the desires of our hearts, IF IT''S IN HIS WILL. I choose to follow Christ and try to live by his standards. Not because I want something and not because he gave me gifts but because he is the Lord. We are bought with his blood. Part of the evidence of my faith is performed through my music and the other is performed through my life. Please do not get fixated on the music, although it is good. However, let your mind meditate on the lyrics, because there is a message in it for everyone. I believe it is important to get the message it represents. Music is a powerful tool. The style God has given me lets me combine Gospel, R&B, Old School mixed with new school, and a touch of the sounds you hear today. As a child I was raised up in the church. As I got older I strayed away back and fourth. GOD knocked at my door and I invited him back in. God has never removed from me his loving grace, forgiveness, and patience that he placed upon my life. In each of my songs, you will learn something more about me and you will know that the songs come from the Bible and my heart from life experiences. As you know these are the best music makers. I have accepted my calling and this is truly my purpose in life. God has something planned for all of us. If you have not found your calling I believe you will from my CD. You will always hear the sounds of my roots by listening to my songs. HIS WORD IS REAL. I pray that you will be blessed from the words of my songs and by practicing what it preaches. Everything is in it''s divine order. God has given us free will. If you are a positive thinking person, but lacking a little discipline, knowing that you need a change in your life, and feel that God''s holy spirit has been convicting you. Then this CD is for you.
