Aidan Shiwa celebrates the release of
his long awaited debut album-''Peaceful Fire''.
Aidan''s music, rooted in reggae, blends in many styles such as latin,
world, soul, hip-hop and rock. Whether singing a soulful and evocative
melody or a harder edged rhyme, Aidan''s voice always carries his
message clearly. His lyrics, which promote non-violence, consciousness
and compassion, are truly the heart of his music. Performances are

At twenty-Seven, Aidan is already a veteran in the music world. He
first began performing and songwriting at age eleven. Between 2001 and
2005 he fronted Pacific Vibrations along side his brother Kerry Wing.
With Pacific Vibrations he recorded and co-produced the album Eastern
Sun, which gained air play both nationally and internationally.
Pacific Vibrations performed at such shows as San Fransisco''s renowned
Reggae in the Park, and headlined U.C. Davis''s Whole Earth festival
and has played along side such greats as Steel Pulse, Luciano, Sizzla
and Burning Spear.
Aidan Shiwa eventually parted ways with Pacific Vibrations to travel
South America. On his journey he became inspired to record and
produce Peaceful Fire, a collection of some of the many songs he''d
written over his life. He gathered together many of his favorite
musicians, musicians who had played with many greats such as Jimi
Hendrix, Buddy Miles, Don Carlos, Pato Banton, and the Abbsynians.
The next year was spent in and out of studios to bring the vision of
Peaceful Fire to a reality. The hard work, fine musicianship, and
love that has gone in to this project is evident, and Peaceful Fire is
taking the hearts of those who hear it by storm.
