Review:

“Cacia’s sound has a luminous glow of its own, enhancing his values for musicality and taste. He is not bonded to mere brass histrionics but is an advocate of making music that communicates be it pure big band jazz, symphonic material or music that subscribes to premier quality commercial values.
An earful of “Portrait” is access to the blend of a rainbow of hues and stylistic persuasions. Common throughout is Cacia’s extraordinary chops to blow trumpet, flugelhorn and piccolo trumpet; his presence is felt in appropriate niches, lending special appeal to the selections and to the ultimate total listening experience. Terrific! ... It Sizzles!!”
