D''Rafael,Guitarist composer Music Director and Arranger of 14 pieces for ''Cielo y Mar was born in Peru. He is a self-taught guitarist that brings you a new touch in music creativity, using the finest tools of perception in his artistry. His compositions are inspire by passages of life and its fantasies, His style is unique. D`Rafael has been composing music by the age of 6 and has been dedicated to music since. In 1986 at the age of fifteen, D''Rafael recieved his first prize in his home town Barranco Guitar Music Competition in Lima Peru. Also in 1991 he won a music award for Best Performance in the Traditional Music Competition in Miami, Florida hosted by the legendary Don Augusto Ferranndo. Previously to this year he won a scholarship to study visual arts and painting at the school of fine arts in Miami. D''Rafael performed with several bands over the past 22 years, before establishing with his own Name around 1994.
