Born in 1982 in Los Angeles to Mexican/Belizean immigrants, Fatsoe is the ultimate in versatility hip hop. Define him as you will; rapper, song writer, producer, critics and fans alike cant deny the sound and raw emotion he provides in his music. From partying to paper chasing and exploring life''s ups and downs, Fatsoe has the ability to reach beyond just your average rap fan. After moving from Los Angeles to the antelope valley at a young age, Fatsoe found hip hop, and the streets, to be his only outlet from life''s hardships. “I''m not gonna give you some sap story of how hard life was for me. After years of hustling on the streets, and finding therapy in the pen and the pad, Fatsoe was able to put together his debut album “Is That Soe?” after moving over 3500 units out the trunk, he was able to earn national distribution for the album thru red eye USA. Touring the U.S for 6 months and also doing major shows in the L.A area, he was well on his way to a successful independent album, when out of nowhere things were shut down. “Let’s just say you cant hustle forever. ” Fatsoe says. “I''m sure you can piece the puzzle together. ”
Now rejuvenated and ready to hit the music hustle harder then before, Fatsoe returns with a new album “Life 101”. “I wrote this when I was at the best point in my life and the worst part of my life” he says. “I just feel like a lot of people can relate to me and the situations in life I write about so I gotta put it out.” Laced with appearances from Crooked I, Tuggboat, Bigg Bamm and more “Life 101” is for sure an album to satisfy the ears of those listening. “Looking back, I learned a lot the past few years, and life became more then anything a learning experience. Now I gotta move forward but never forget what life taught me in the past. ”
