In 2005 Tobi Hofmann and his 2kiloherz-team released the cd "inside"(Rodenstein Records ROD27),
a multicoloured piece of improvised music recorded in a discharged nuclear reactor.
For the new cd "wasser:weg" (an ambiguous german wordplay:"water:way"as well as "water:away") they went in two very special rooms: a huge reservoir for rainwater and a new-build digestion tower in Munich/Germany, both providing a sensational acoustic situation with reverb times up to 30 seconds. Tobi Hofmann and Ulrich Wangenheim play simple solo & duo-improvisations, plane and sometimes meditational pieces, that make the listener feel the speciality of these places. Something very special!
