Supernova is a rock band hailing from Guildford in the UK, formed early in 2007 they take dirty classic rock and bring it kicking and screaming into the 21st century giving it a coating of 90''s Indie on the way. They have been rinsing out their brand of rock all over the south of England for the past year finding a little time to get a few tracks recorded.
The band have been drumming up support for their release with a host of online activity and our sound can be heard playing all over the web.
The band is a 3 piece, made up of music students with a love for the dirty side of rock. Seeing the increase of indie bands appearing they decided to form a "proper" rock band and show the world what they were all about.
They saw the potential for their music after coming 2nd in a battle of the bands contest and began taking their music to the people. With a few successful gigs under their belts they hit the studio to record "When In Rome". Recording was quick and they got "Had Enough" and "Today''s The Day" down as well.
They are looking forward to the future, gaining some exposure and getting some new fans involved with the music when the EP goes live on iTunes. Samples of the music can be found on many sites including their own and can even be downloaded free as a torrent. (check Mininova ;-)
