Mark was trained as a classical pianist at a very young age, and also performed as a teenager in rock and jazz bands. After twenty-five years as an attorney, consultant, and entrepreneur, Mark began to compose again. He was raised in Colorado, and spent a good portion of his years outside exploring remote wilderness areas. Mark continues to guide clients on solitary wilderness journeys, where he helps his clients learn from the land. His songs tell the story of what he has learned, reaching deep inside the audience to elicit their desires, inspirations, and feelings.
Mark has worked extensively with Tom Capek (Dotsero), Taylor Mesple (Wind Machine), and Chris Ball (on tour with Firefall).
