Milton "Prilly"Hamilton was the former lead singer of the Jamaican Reggae Group Third World. He is a founder member of the Group along with the Steven ''Cat'' Coore and Michael ''ÏBO'' Cooper.

The Third World Band was not the start to the singing career of Prilly. The Arian born Hamilton began his singing career with the group called "Hells Angels" while in High School at the age of 15. He later went on to pursue a diploma course in Medical Technology at The University of the West Indies(Mona)-Jamaica. This was where he met up with Ibo who was then a member of the then popular Inner Circle Band. The same Inner Circle Band that later became popular with the Late Jacob Miller. Prilly joined the group and spent a couple of years with them. They toured extensively in the Caribbean and North America. It was after these tours that Prilly with Ibo and Cat formed Third World Band.

The Third World first Album entitled "Third World" featured the imitable and distinct vocal sound of Prilly Hamilton. His rendition of songs like "Brand New Beggar", "Freedom Song", "Sun don''t shine" "Satta Amassagana" and "Slavery Days" helped to establish the Third World Band as the most innovative new sound at the time.

In 1974 Third World with Prilly Hamilton opened for the Jackson 5 at the National Stadium in Jamaica. In 1975 they opened for the Late Great Bob Marley at the Lyceum in London where the Third World first album was launched. The Band along with Prilly toured Europe where they staged performances that were later documented as Reggae most triumphant moments.

Prilly since his departure from Third World has been a succesful caberet performance and has since been working with Sly and Robbie. His latest album entitled "U" was produced by the rythm twins also his album entitled Heaven Sent was produced by them. Prilly is a singer song writer and 11 of the 14 songs on the U album are original songs. At one stage of his career he was been managed by the famous American producers Full Force. Full Force has produced artiste like Lisa Lisa, Cult Jam, James Brown, Janet Jackson to name a few.

Prilly Hamilton has in his solo career has had many top ten singles on the Jamaican Chart. Songs such as "Missing You", "Too Many Hearts", and "Night Doctor" to name a few. He has opened for Dionne Warwick in Jamaica and has performed at a number of local shows.

Prilly is currently working on his latest project which is also produced by Sly and Robbie.
