HollowPoint Presents: Explode On Contact the EP, Version 2 is a 5 song precursor to the full length "Explode On Contact" Album, and counter part to the original 4 song EP release. The joint contains three solos and two collaborations from Nashville based artist Shorty D, Ms. Shine, Child''s Play, Da Man, and Ra Flare, who''s out of Detroit.
The full-length compilation album will contain ill ass joints from independent rap artist based in Nashville TN. Though based in Nashville this Hip Hop collective hail from different places in Tennessee, Alabama, New York, and Detroit. The full length album will contain the 5 songs on the EP as well as 10 others. The project consist of two main themes: high energy, hard hittin, bust-your-ass joints letting fools know we taken over and ain''t taking no shorts; and solemn tales from the streets about overcoming obstacles and still rising to the top.
The EP contains 5 hard bangers for the streets. Lyricism is always on point, and the hard boom bap beats are always in effect. We represent the real hip hop and we''re putting this make down for the streets. That''s basically the HollowPoint philosophy. This is not watered down commercial-ass rap; this is for the real muthafuckas. The album represents a universal sound, yet sprinkled with southern funkadelic flava that all rap fans can get down with.
