Ghetto Gold records surfaced on the music scene in early 1998. founded, created by Salodine McRae Know as Big Sal. This Brooklyn nite had an ear for music that stemmed from his background as a DJ spinning the one’s and two’s any where he could, with a degree in business and the love and support of family and friends he was on a mission, A mission to bring music from the street to the forefront by taking raw talent and developing it, Music that would be creative yet marketable.
Salodine pitched his ideal to his friend Brenda Baker who had experience in Artist Development, she liked the ideal, and they went into partnership.
